With 482 drivers, plenty of emotions and thrills on the track throughout the weekend on the Paul-Ricard karting track, this 10th edition was a resounding success.

For this 10th edition, the Jules Bianchi marathon was a resounding success this weekend with 482 drivers on the karting track of the Paul-Ricard circuit. “It was a beautiful communion around the memory of Jules. I am truly very moved. For the tenth anniversary of his death, we paid him a beautiful tribute,” confided his father Philippe, the originator and co-organizer of this event. “In addition to being able to donate funds to the association (which perpetuates the memory of the Nice native through concrete actions in favor of people suffering from serious brain injuries: supporting research, funding medical equipment, supporting families, etc.), we created an event that grew even more powerful this year with an incredible spirit and a large crowd.“

The symbolic victory of JB#17 TMS by Snadec

A feeling of general goodwill seemed to hover around the circuit during this special and particularly moving weekend, which concluded with the symbolic victory of JB#17 TMS by Snadec, composed of Southerners, most of whom knew Jules well and have made it their duty to ride for him for the past ten years.

To win, they had to brave the various weather conditions, which were not easy due to the rain on Saturday. “All the drivers gave their all and kept smiling despite the fatigue,” said co-organizer Franck Lagorce. “I think they’ll all want to come back to keep their place. With 35 teams, we’re at our maximum capacity, and those from the previous edition have priority… It’s become an unmissable karting race, the longest in the world.”
