Kart Mag Trophy: Victory for favorite Mike Meynard in Mini 60
Mike Meynard is currently one of the best Minis in France, and he proved it once again by dominating the event: he led the timesheets in all three heats, in the super heat and in the final with the fastest lap of the race, as well as a fairly substantial lead at the finish line. The excitement came from behind, with excellent U10 Minis ready to take on the drivers in their last or penultimate year in the category.
After a modest 15th place finish, Clément Pollet regained a position more in line with his talent over the course of the weekend. On Sunday, he won his super heat and quickly overtook the excellent Noah Sy to take second place ahead of his rival, who never gave up.
Hats off to Jules Chech, who confirmed his progress by crossing the finish line in fourth place, despite still being in the U10 category. Jules also took the top step of the podium in this category, winning the Jules Bianchi Trophy ahead of Paul Dussard and Gabin Midali, who finished sixth and seventh respectively in the final behind Noah Heurtier.
